In the navy with Paper Issues!

Paper Issues has a new issue posted and its called In the Navy.

There is a great prize to be won and almost 60 link-ups so far!
So stop over and check out what's happening over at Paper Issues!

For my card, I cut a mask(the scattered dots), the anchor and the sentiment, all with my Cameo. I laied the mask out over my card front and inked it with a navy blue ink pad. I had cut the anchor out of white cardstock, along with the sentiment, but it needed some inking to make it look like metal. So, I started with a grey ink, went over it with a darker shade, then gave it a light pass with a metallic gold ink pad to give it that worn metal look. I topped the whole thing off with a bit of thicker twine, tied to the top of the anchor and then twisted randomly about the card.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to link us up to your projects at Paper Issues!
Have a great day!
