5th & Main and back to school

I used my 5th & Main to decorate some Frapuccino bottles and a tote for the teachers. Each bottle contained some chocolate candy, and hanging from each bottle is a tag, with a pocket containing a Starbucks card. The Cocoa Daisy stamps this month couldn't be more perfect. Look...

Glitz Design just for fun!

I purchased the Nautical box from Glitz Design recently, and when it came in the mail the other day, I had to crack it open right away. The contents were perfect for scrapping my oldest daughter's nautical themed birthday.

The background is one that I created using the Crafter's Workshop tiny dots mask and some Gold Lame spray by Heidi Swapp. I added a couple things from my stash like the wooden stars, wood "happy" flag, the Amy Tangerine pocket, and the alphas but most of it was from the box. The pocket holds my journaling tag and some extra photos from the day.

I love the way it turned out and it came together in no time at all.
Thanks for stopping by and letting me share!

Let's take a trip to 5th & Main

Last night, Cocoa Daisy revealed their September kit, 5th & Main. If you didn't stop in already, you MUST!! This kit was the most fun to work with and the add-ons are so perfect, I had to have every one of them! Here's a couple layouts that I created with the kit and add-ons...

 Details...

Details...

I couldn't get enough of the gold vellum and the stamps this month. This kit is so fabulous, its not going to last long. I hope you're lucky enough to get your hands on one.
Come back soon, I'll be sharing more of my kit projects!

how 'bout a little trip down to 5th and Main?

It's almost reveal time at Cocoa Daisy and you DO NOT want to miss this one. You should probably pack a bag and grab a chair.
I would totally camp out the night before for this kit.
It's only a couple days away, but to tide you over, I'll leave you with a few sneak peeks.

If you're hungry for more, you can find them HERE on the message boards.

Paper Issues Becky Higgins Project Life Hop!

Welcome to Paper Issues BeckyHiggins Project Life

You should have arrived here from JoAnn's blog.

If this is your first stop, be sure to head over to Paper Issues to start at the beginning!

I couldn't have been more delighted when I opened up my package of Project Life cards to use for this hop. I just LOVE this Kraft set!! The primary colors and the geometric patterns are right up my alley! I have to admit that I am still a little bit of a newbie to the whole PL culture, but I also wanted to show you something different you could use your cards for. So, I created a layout instead of going the traditional Project Life direction. I trimmed and layered and even "popped up" some of my cards to create a dimensional background. I added a couple bits here and there, and a photo of my adorable pups and there, you have it... a clean and simple, graphic layout using the PL cards.

Next up on the hop is Martha
I know you are going to LOVE what she has created with the Kraft Project Life cards.

Oh! and before you go...

Thanks for hopping with us today!

Make sure that you leave a comment at each of the stops, 6 lucky winners will receive a sample of the Kraft Project Life core kit! And one lucky winner will receive a core kit of their choice!
That's 7 winners! Those odds are pretty good, in my opinion!
